Hey everyone! I hope you guys are having a fantastic Friday. Today we’ve teamed up with the team over behind Mod Podge to bring you a awesome DIY tutorial featuring the new Collage Clay, Mod Melts, and Drizzle Paints! You won’t believe all the DIY Teen Crafts you’re able to come up with these awesome products from Plaid. I know a lot of us has been on vacation this year, so I thought a #Vacation2014 collage frame would be awesome to make! This will look great in any room. Let’s get started. Here’s the supplies :
Collage Frame | Mini Hot Glue Gun | Mod Melts | Collage Clay | Podgable Glitters | FolkArt Multi-Surface Paints | Foam Brushes
Step 1 : Fill all your Mod Molds up with Mod Melts. Mod Melts work best in a mini hot glue gun.
Step 2 : After your mod melts have dried, paint them! For these two, I tried the fun Glitter Folk Art Multi-Surface paints.
Step 3 : Take the Collage Clay and ice the frame like you would a cake. This stuff is awesome for Decoden Projects! It is seriously just like Whipped Cream.
Step 4 : Now fill in any spots. I sometimes like making a design in the light weight clay. It gives a fun effect and for sure something different in Decoden.
Optional : Take the Podgeable Glitters and puff it onto your frame. You can choose from a few different colors and have fun with it.
Step 5 : Now take all your Podgeable Shapes and apply it into the Collage Clay! It takes 72 hours for the collage clay to properly cure. Try to apply all your Mod Melts onto your project within the first few minutes of having the Collage Clay down.
